Description

When I am trying to use Let's encrypt generated certificates (using certbot), the Gitlab does not start.
The files are stored in the correct folder and named according to the README.
I do not see any errors in the nginx log.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance.

Research direction

Start with the README's certificate setup and compare the reported certbot-generated files, folder, and filenames with the container's expectations. Reproduce the startup failure and inspect the nginx logs; done means GitLab starts successfully with the Let's Encrypt certificates and the cause is documented.
