Description

I cannot connect PC A (Windows 10) to PC B (Windows 11), but when I try to connect PC B to PC A, it works.

Both machines show ready, but when I try to connect from PC A to PC B, it just has "Connection in progress, Please wait." and then keeps reaching the "deadline has elapsed"

I am using the public server. I haven't yet tried hosting my own server yet.

What I notice was strange, was PC B only had 8 digits for its ID whereas every other machine I have installed RuskDesk on is 9 digits.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the one-way connection between the Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines using the public server, checking the differing 8- and 9-digit IDs. No file or test is identified in the report, so trace the server-side connection path and compare both connection directions. Done means identifying the cause of the stalled connection or narrowing it to the client, server, or public infrastructure.
