Description

I have build a self-bulid server and i test it, its working good on my two windows PC (one is physical ,another one is VM based onPerellels Desktop). I use host address like: xxx.xxxx.com. i can connect both between each other.even can connect them from Mac version.

but I notice a problem: i have to input my DDNS IP address on my MAC version . if i use host address like what I use on windows. It cannot connect to other machine .

i also try connect my MAC from my physical laptop. its working good.

when I use host address on my MAC and try to connect to other machine, I got below error. so, is that means MAC version cannot support host address methods?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the connection failure on macOS using the host address versus the DDNS IP, then compare the server and client logs; done means the macOS client connects successfully through the host address or the limitation is documented.
