Description
I'm currently missing a feature, so a preconfigured client can only access one specific device. Thus, for a custom client it would be nice to have a Override Setting that specifies a default remote ID:
remote-id: 12345678
further it would be nice to disable the ID field, so the remote ID is set to a const value.
This feature would be great if external 3rd party user need to access a certain device.

Research direction
No files or tests are named in the issue. Start by locating custom-client configuration and the remote ID field, then trace how override settings are applied. Done means a preconfigured client uses the configured remote ID and the ID field cannot be changed.
