Description
Hi,
I would like to request support for Windows / Active Directory authentication for unattended access.
In an AD environment, I would like to:
- Authenticate IT administrators through RustDesk Server Pro / LDAP.
- Use existing AD identities/groups to authorize access to Windows endpoints.
- Connect to a remote PC without user approval.
- Without configuring a permanent RustDesk password on every endpoint.
- Ideally using Windows Integrated Authentication (SSPI / Kerberos / NTLM).
The goal is to avoid creating and managing a second, permanent credential on every workstation.
This seems related to several existing discussions/issues:
- OSS #8020 – Integrate Windows NT authentication for unattended access
- Pro #357 – Access to machine with no user session without password
- Pro #697 – Password-less login / device ownership
- Pro #270 – Feature request: Address Book and Access Method
- OSS #14755 –
allow-logon-screen-password
Is this technically possible with the current Pro architecture, or is Windows/AD authentication for the remote session planned?
Thanks!

Research direction
Start by reviewing the linked OSS and Pro discussions, especially #8020, #357, #697, #270, and #14755, then inspect the current Pro architecture for authentication and unattended access. Done means establishing whether AD identities can authorize password-less remote sessions and documenting the required implementation direction.
