Description

I am thinking to explor Rust desk to replace meshcentral, however one really useful feature is missing - the ability to port forward.
Been able to forward an IP:PORT pair at the remote machine to the port on my local client machine is extramley useful.

I have not let explored the code for Rust desk but would this be an enhancment worth looking at / considering?
Thanks

Research direction

The issue describes forwarding a remote IP:PORT pair to a local client port, but it names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying the intended behavior and scope, then identify the RustDesk component responsible for remote connections. Done should include an agreed design and verified port-forwarding behavior.
