Research direction
Start with the WindowEvent::Resized method and trace how event results are currently handled in the winit windowing API. Clarify which events should be cancellable, how cancellation should be represented, and what behavior the API should guarantee before identifying the required tests. Done means the cancellation design is agreed and its behavior is covered across the affected event paths.
