Description

In rustc 1.70.0-nightly (ab654863c 2023-03-15), bincode which is one of the dependencies of bootloader crate is not compiled because of internal compiler error.

But, in rustc 1.69.0-nightly, it compiles fine.

Research direction

No repository file or test entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the bincode compilation failure with rustc 1.70.0-nightly (ab654863c 2023-03-15), then compare it with rustc 1.69.0-nightly. Done means identifying a project-side fix or a confirmed compiler regression and documenting the result.
