Description

I had a .cargo/config.toml with the following content:

[target.x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu]
rustflags = ["-L", "native=."]

and the flags were sent correctly when using cg_llvm, but they were not sent properly with the y.sh script.

Research direction

Start with the repository's y.sh script and the .cargo/config.toml target configuration, then compare how cg_llvm and y.sh invoke the build. Reproduce the x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu case and trace where the rustflags stop being forwarded; done means the configured native library path is passed correctly through y.sh.
