Description

summarizing long discussions is very helpful, doesn't demand reviewer attention, and doesn't (usually) require knowledge of rustc internals, and doesn't even require writing any code.

all of this makes it a good way for beginners to meaningfully contribute to the rust project.

Research direction

Locate the “what should I work on” section and the S-tracking-needs-summary label or reference in the guide. Add a mention explaining that summarizing long discussions is a beginner-friendly contribution, then verify the section reads clearly and the change appears in the rendered documentation.
