Research direction
Start with the public API and feature gate #![feature(bigint_helper_methods)], then review previous tracking issue #85532 and the API update in #156644. The remaining work is to resolve the return-type concern, complete the final commenting period, and determine whether the widening_mul methods are ready for stabilization.
