Tracking Issue for unix_fifo

This is a tracking issue for the stdlib API unix_fifo (rust-lang/libs-team#416).
The feature gate for the issue is #![feature(unix_fifo)].

About tracking issues

Tracking issues are used to record the overall progress of implementation.
They are also used as hubs connecting to other relevant issues, e.g., bugs or open design questions.

Implementation history

Start with the std::os::unix::fs::mkfifo signature and the linked rustc-dev-guide documentation and stabilization instructions. Review the documentation and Style Guide checklist items; done means the outstanding documentation and formatting work is addressed and the stabilization step has been completed.
