Description
Would it be possible to allow users to opt into automatically running rustfmt before code is executed, or automatically after making changes, or provide a button to run it? I find myself going to the Tools menu to run it quite often and those options would make it easier.

Research direction
Start by inspecting the Tools menu and the code-execution flow mentioned in the issue. Compare the requested automatic-before-execution, automatic-after-changes, and button-triggered options, then define which behavior is in scope. Done means users have a supported way to run rustfmt without repeatedly navigating the current menu.
