Description
There are many reasons to use mutexes over atomics. Clippy is unable to correctly determine if an atomic is sufficient to replace the mutex use. Attempting to lint over could lead to pushing users to introduce bugs in their code.
I recommend removing this lint.

Locate the mutex_atomic lint and its associated tests and documentation in rust-clippy, then read the surrounding implementation and the discussion on this issue. Confirm whether the lint should be removed and update the relevant tests and documentation; done means the lint no longer ships and the test suite passes.
