Description
#20898 was not fixed properly: the bug is still present with error! from e.g. tracing::error, although warn! now works. I'd reopen but lack the permission to do so.

Research direction
Start by reading issue #20898 and reproducing auto-import for tracing::error!, then compare it with the working warn! case. The fix is done when auto-import correctly handles the exclamation-mark macro without regressing the existing warn! behavior.
