Description
We already allow this to be done for fly check via an lsp cancellation token, we should enable the same for build scripts somehow.

Research direction
Start by tracing how cancellation is handled for fly check through its LSP cancellation token. Then locate the compile-time dependency build and build-script paths and determine where the same cancellation signal can be propagated. Done means an in-progress build-script dependency step can be cancelled without affecting unrelated work.
