Contributor guide
First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
- Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Start by cloning rustdesk and running cargo metadata against its Cargo.toml on Windows, then compare the result with rust-analyzer's workspace-loading path. The issue names no rust-analyzer source file or test; completion would require identifying a reproducible project-side or rust-analyzer-side failure and adding a verified regression test or documented resolution.
