Description

I would like to disable every single rust-analyzer diagnostic, except for syntax errors, since all of the semantic diagnostics have too many false positives to really be useful for me.

It looks like this isn't currently possible: you can only selectively disable individual diagnostics, or turn them all off.

Research direction

Start by tracing rust-analyzer's diagnostic configuration and how syntax errors are distinguished from semantic diagnostics. Done means users can disable all semantic diagnostics while retaining syntax errors, with coverage for the configuration behavior.
