Description
I have a few projects that, like rust-analyzer itself, disable debug information in the default dev profile to reduce compile times and disk usage. However, this also means that I can't use the Debug code-action on a test to actually debug it, without first changing the dev profile in Cargo.toml. It would be nice if I could just add a setting to .vscode/settings.json in those projects that tells RA to use a different profile for debugging that does include debug symbols.

Research direction
Start with the Debug code-action for tests and the project settings in .vscode/settings.json; compare these with the dev profile in Cargo.toml. Trace how the action selects a profile, then define the setting and verify that debugging uses the configured profile with debug symbols without requiring changes to Cargo.toml.
