Description

We should open an information tab when a user installs the VSCode extension, showing a bunch of useful features and configurations the user might be interested in. This should help with discoverability for features that we do not want to enable by default.

Research direction

The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the VSCode extension's install and activation handling, then determine how an information tab should be opened and what content it should contain. Done means the tab appears on installation and presents the intended useful features and configurations without enabling them by default.
