Description

The lang-specific RFC policy states:

The result of triage will either be that the PR is assigned to a member of the sub-team for shepherding, [or the PR is closed or postponed]

But that doesn't seem to be the case in practice. Could this document be updated to reflect the current processes? Or is this a practice you intend to go back to, but just don't have the bandwidth for currently?

Research direction

Read the linked lang_changes.md policy, especially the triage and shepherding passage. Compare its stated process with the current process, which the issue does not document, and clarify with the relevant Rust team before changing the wording; done means the policy accurately reflects an agreed process.
