Description
Currently, I have multiple places in my codebase where I end up doing Ok(try!(myres)) in order to get the error type to convert cleanly. It would be nice to have something like:
impl From<Result<T, E1>> for Result<T, E2>
where E1: Into<E2>
{
fn from(res: Result<T, E1>) -> Self {
match res {
Ok(t) => Ok(t),
Err(e) => Err(e.into()),
}
}
}
Not sure if it should also use an .into() call on T to support a T2 or not.
