Description
The Read/Write interfaces mostly deal with bytes. However, many people may wish to use it for reading strings instead -- for example people doing webdev from languages like Python or even TCP users in C++ are used to a simpler interface, and they find the writer API verbose. Having some utility methods that work with strings and handle the buffer allocation would be nice.
