Description
The shuffle API in #62 can handle nearly any hardware shuffle, but it's a bit clumsy to use (and the API requires full const generics).
A few common cases of shuffles should be provided as a simpler API:
-
reverse -
rotate -
shift(likerotatebut insert 0s) -
align(or mayberotate2?) see #78 -
interleave/deinterleave

Research direction
Start by reading the shuffle API described in #62 and the discussion in #78, with particular attention to the proposed align or rotate2 behavior. Determine the intended semantics for shift and align, then verify that the common shuffle API covers the unchecked items in the issue and has appropriate tests.
