Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the existing bus traits and the issue's comparison with std::io, then determine the scope and compatibility requirements for a no_std bus-independent trait; done would require an agreed design and corresponding implementation and tests.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Hi,
Lot of sensors can be used with both I2C and SPI, so why not defining a generic I/O trait that is bus independent like the std::io trait that is not available in a no_std program. In my drivers i had to define my own bus independent trait.
