Description

It seems like the cortex_m::interrupt::Mutex type only gives an immutable reference? What's the point of the mutex then? How can I get a mutable reference to the value?

Research direction

Start with the cortex_m::interrupt::Mutex API and its Mutex::borrow method. Clarify why the mutex returns an immutable reference and document how callers can obtain mutable access; done when the usage question is answered unambiguously in the API documentation.
