Research direction

Start by reviewing the interoperability chapter and the context in issue #1. Research Rust integration resources and examples for the listed RTOSs, then collect the useful links and documentation in this issue and incorporate the selected material into that chapter. Done means the chapter points readers to relevant resources for the supported RTOSs.

Description

help wanted

Related to #1.

We won't block the book on this, but it would be great to have some examples to point at and documentation around integrating Rust with common RTOSs. We can collect links and resources in this issue, and add them to the interoperability chapter.

Suggestions for RTOSs to consider:

  • FreeRTOS
  • ChibiOS
  • mbed
  • TockOS
  • Zephyr
  • MyNewt
  • ?
