Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the inner rule parser and its handling of imported modules and rule bubble strings, then identify repeated parsing inputs and the relevant tests. Done means equivalent inputs reuse cached parsed rules without changing parsing behavior.

Description

incremental-compilation parsing

Instead of re-parsing every rule in every file, we should be smarter about cacheing the function of (imported modules, rule bubble string) -> parsed rule, which will allow us to skip parsing rules which we've already parsed with the same parser.
