Description
On the branch vat-rely is a new proof added at tests/specs/mcd/vat-rely-diff-pass-rough-spec.k. It seems to be using an inconsistent amount of memory on different runs of the haskell backend, and when the repl is running it maybe behaves different on different runs? Either way, it pretty frequently takes an absurd amount of memory.

Research direction
Start by reading tests/specs/mcd/vat-rely-diff-pass-rough-spec.k and examining the new proof on the vat-rely branch. Compare repeated runs with and without the REPL using the Haskell backend; done means the inconsistent memory behavior is reproducible and its cause or required fix is documented.
