Description
Goal
To create the view that shows the game
Context
The games themselves are hosted externally to our site, but we iframe them on a show page within our app so students never leave our app to play. A student reaches this view from the module/course flow — clicking the game item linked to a ContentModule — the same way they'd click any other module link today.
The creation/updating of the actual game attempt (score, completion) is handled by JSON requests sent from the game itself, not by this view — this view's only job is to render the iframe.
AC
- Clicking a game item linked to a ContentModule navigates the student to this view, which renders the game in an iframe
- The iframed game URL includes a
student_idGET parameter so the game knows which student is playing

Research direction
Start by tracing how a game item linked to a ContentModule is handled in the existing module/course flow and locate the show-page view for rendering it. Done means clicking the game reaches a view with the externally hosted game in an iframe, and the iframe URL includes the current student's student_id parameter.
