Description
This could potentially be a feature within https://github.com/helm/chart-testing
It would be nice to have the feature for "snapshot tests" that write the outputs from the ci/ directory to disk somewhere, commit them, and then notify on / display diffs. We could also have CI "fix" the diffs too by committing diffs to github

Research direction
Start by reviewing the proposed helm/chart-testing feature and the repository's ci/ directory. Determine how snapshot outputs, committed results, GitHub notifications, displayed diffs, and optional CI fixes should fit together. Done requires an agreed design and CI behavior for detecting and reporting snapshot differences.
