Description

In the following example, the action button should have title = "FOOO" but, FOOO becomes the title of the popover card instead.

library(shiny)
library(bslib)

ui <- page_fluid(
  class = "p-4",
  popover(
    actionButton("settings", "tooltip > popover", title = "FOOO"),
    radioButtons(
      inputId = "color_scheme",
      label = NULL,
      choices = c("Light", "Dark", "Colorblind Friendly"),
      selected = "Light",
      inline = TRUE
    )
  )
)

server <- function(input, output, session) {}

shinyApp(ui, server)

Research direction

Start by running the supplied Shiny example and inspect the popover() behavior around the actionButton title attribute. Trace the popover trigger and title handling, then verify that the button keeps title="FOOO" while the popover card no longer uses it as its title.
