Description

Just converting this comment into an issue

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open two terminal tabs, let's call them α and β
  2. α: Run an old ubuntu container as podman run --rm -v .:/mnt --cap-add=SYS_PTRACE,SYS_ADMIN --security-opt seccomp=unconfined -it ubuntu:18.04 bash
  3. α: Install rr
  4. α: export _RR_TRACE_DIR=./; cd /mnt && rr record true && rr pack
  5. β: rr replay ./true-0
  6. β: a gdb prompt will appear, press continue

Expected

The record will run successfully
