Description
In #183, something is going way off the rails during replay, and I bet we could catch it earlier if we checked the pointer values and other non-outparam data passed to the syscall wrappers.

Research direction
Start by reading issue #183 to understand the replay failure, then locate the syscall wrappers mentioned here. Determine which pointer values and other non-out-parameter data should be checked in DEBUG mode, and verify that those checks catch the earlier failure during replay.
