Description
The ioctls in /usr/include/linux/wireless.h are irregular so they are silently allowed by rr even though some of them return data to user-space. On my system, chromium-browser uses some of them and this causes divergence. I see it using at least SIOCGIWNAME and SIOCGIWESSID.

Research direction
Start by reading /usr/include/linux/wireless.h, focusing on SIOCGIWNAME and SIOCGIWESSID and how their irregular ioctl behavior returns data to user space. Trace rr's handling of these ioctls and verify that recording and replaying chromium-browser no longer diverges.
