Description

Summary

I would like to request to release a new version with the libgit2@1.8.0.

Details

I saw "skipHash=true" is supported in the new version of libgit2 (1.8.0). I am wondering if it's possible to release a new version with updated libgit2 to remove the previous limitation on "skipHash=true"

Research direction

No file, test, or release entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating where the libgit2 dependency version is declared and how releases are prepared; done means a new release uses libgit2 1.8.0 and removes the stated skipHash=true limitation.
