Research direction
No file or test is identified in the issue. Start by locating the diagnosticFilters implementation and how diagnostic severity is represented; then determine how warning and info filters should differ from error filters. Done means users can ignore warnings or infos without ignoring errors, while existing code-specific filtering continues to work.
