Description

I wouldn't expect cannot find name 'm' to be an error here when the only issue is the as <type> being missing. Feels like they should be validate independently.

No file or test entry point is named. Start by reproducing the typecast example from the issue and trace the TypeScript compiler diagnostics for the missing as <type>; done means the missing type error is reported without also reporting cannot find name 'm'.
