Description
Problem description
Probably should migrate to asyncio or use non-blocking sockets + select.
When I run the deploy-info command (which executes pretty quickly) it just sits there waiting for the connections to finish timing out.

Research direction
Start with the deploy-info command and the RobotFinder connection handling described in the issue, then reproduce the hang on Linux. Trace why connections wait for timeouts and determine the scope of the proposed non-blocking approach. Done means deploy-info completes without waiting for connection timeouts.
