Description

Add functionality to enable and disable support for resizable base address register (rebar) for PCIe accelerators (gpu). The linux kernel relies on the BIOS to negotiate rebar. This project claims to have a generic UEFI DXE driver with this functionality.

Research direction

Start by comparing the requested PCIe ReBAR behavior with the linked ReBarUEFI generic UEFI DXE driver and the Linux kernel's BIOS negotiation assumptions. Define how OpenSBI would expose enable and disable support for PCIe accelerators, and what hardware or firmware behavior would demonstrate that the work is complete.
