Description
"Hello,
I am looking for some clarity on which Non-English category I should use to transcribe some books for young children that contain both Spanish and English words.
At first I thought category 1 because they contain both languages but as I read that guidelines/rules more I am wondering because these “Spanish words” may not be “anglicized” if it is more appropriate to do them using category 2?
If it is determined that it would be more appropriate to have them to be done using category 2, then the Spanish words would be uncontracted and any modifiers would be the non-English code symbols and the English throughout the book would still be uncontracted in UEB.
Thank you in advance for clarifying this for me!"
