Description
String and ints already work as polyvariant values. Investigate whether we could make floats and negative numbers work as well (currently parse errors).

Research direction
Start by locating the compiler parser for polyvariant values and compare how existing string and integer cases are handled. Reproduce the parse errors for floats and negative numbers, then determine the required behavior and tests; done means the investigation has a clear implementation path or documented reason it cannot be supported.
