Description

My nodejs rest api makes use of redis for cache/state management and is replicated across multiple locations.

Redis runs in master/replicas cluster mode and is also distributed across multiple locations.

In order to reduce latency I would like to read from the nearest read replica and write to master.

I assumed this would already be possible, however I haven't been able to find this feature.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing node-redis cluster support and the Redis master/replica setup described here; define how nearest-replica selection and master writes would be verified before implementation.
