Research direction

Start by reading verifiers/ast_check.py, which contains the implemented AST syntax checker. Use the issue's verifier list to define the remaining work: add linting, type checking, and unit-test verification, with initial tests focused on SWE-bench Verified; done means these verifier categories are implemented and covered.
