Describe the bug
I created this issue a while back, supported with a PR, but it has stopped working. Any idea why? cc @gorkem @msivasubramaniaan
Expected Behavior
I expect when previewing the example, it should look well-formatted

Start by reviewing issue #889 and reproducing the example preview on macOS, comparing the expected well-formatted output with the attached screenshot. Trace the preview path in the YAML language server to identify where formatting stopped being applied. Done means the example preview is well-formatted again and the regression is covered by an appropriate test.
