Description

I wanted to know if there was a way to have this extension automatically add the header and footer like...

--- # header
key1: value1
... #footer

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing how the VS Code YAML extension handles document edits and configuration, then clarify when headers and footers should be inserted and what valid YAML boundaries mean. Done should be defined by an agreed behavior and tests for the requested automatic insertion.
