Description
Hi colleagues,
do you plan to allow wildcards for specifying schemas path? So one can use
"xml.fileAssociations": [{
"systemId": "./schemas/*.xsd",
"pattern": "**/*.xml"
}]

Research direction
Start by locating the handling of the xml.fileAssociations setting and how its systemId value resolves schemas. Check whether existing tests cover file-association matching; done means a wildcard such as ./schemas/*.xsd matches the intended schema files for matching XML documents, with tests documenting the behavior.
