Description

New file and folder created do not show up in java project.

Also when I open a java project, file fails to show up?

snap-20231028-02

Finally if I create new files and folder from the terminal, they don't show in java projects?

Does anyone even test this for java project? It seems the UI stuff is really bad developer experience, there are so many other grips that I stop using vscode for java. Which is a shame because there is so more potential here.

Last request, please add a option to be able to refresh the treeview, this IDE is so fustrating to use. Also don't reposnd with that is not this team issue, please post with team X. I stop reporting defects because of this nonsense inside microsoft.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue through the Java Projects Explorer using the listed steps, then compare files and folders created in the explorer with those created from the terminal. Done means newly created items reliably appear in the Java project tree, including when a project is opened; the requested refresh option is a separate scope to clarify.
