Description

When on a Java class, the right-click pop-up menu actions "Go to Definition" or "Go to Type Definition" are not working.

In contrast, hitting Ctrl + T and typing #String correctly opens the definition (source) of java.lang.String.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in VS Code on a Java class, comparing the right-click “Go to Definition” and “Go to Type Definition” actions with Ctrl+T and #String. Trace the commands used by the context menu and make them resolve the same definition source; done means both menu actions open java.lang.String like the keyboard flow.
