Description

The feature to F12/Go To Definition doesn't work for java files/projects

This feature works on other languages like JS/C#/Python in the same version of vscode I have.

Environment
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 19.04
  • JDK version: 1.8_201
  • Visual Studio Code version: 1.36.1
  • Java extension version: 0.47.0

Research direction

Reproduce F12/Go to Definition for a Java file or project using Ubuntu 19.04, JDK 1.8_201, VS Code 1.36.1, and Java extension 0.47.0, then compare the behavior with the working languages described in the issue. No file or test is named; done means Java definitions open correctly from the affected project.
